Although the Festival was unable to raise the neccessary funds for a full street festival this year, it certainly managed to provide a large number of events up and down Church Street on 16 June. Performance artists, poets, artists and writers all did their thing from the Assembly Rooms to the High STreet. The Word on the Street event filled the street from end to end with stories, comments and quotes.
The Festival has promised that the Street Festival will return next year to mark its 10th anniversary.
