The Kiosk Project on Kynaston Road is holding an
exhibition entitled Counting Air, by Rob Smith, on Fridays to Sundays between noon and
5pm, ending 15 December. One cubic centimetre of air contains 25 000 000 000 000 000 000
molecules. These molecules only occupy one thousandth of that volume, leaving so much
space in between that light passes straight through the gaps, rendering it invisible to
the eye. We only visualise the air through observing its physical effects and forming
conceptual models to describe it. For The Kiosk Project Rob Smith is presenting four works
that address the notion of looking at air. Phone Regitze on 020 7249 0072 or visit www.thekioskproject.com .
