FOOT VILLAGE are a thunderous drum-n-shout assembly from Los Angeles - a thick forest of whirling limbs beating out rhythms for whispers and hollers to leap and dive through. Featuring members of Gang Wizard, Friends Forever and the infamous International Voice of Reason, Foot Village are pure hardcore spirit without the spark of electricity. Erecting civilisation with drums and voices alone, Foot Village are the first nation built after the foreseeable apocalypse. Don't get this self-imposed restraint confused with some neo-luddite stance however, as Foot Village only want to inspire others with the wide potential of rock music. Anything becomes possible if you have an idea to run with. After a collection of singles, EP tracks and remixes on Gilgongo, Foot Village have recently returned with their new record proper called 'Anti-Magic' on Upset The Rhythm. Describing 'Anti-Magic' as a collection of drum essays embracing the physical and rejecting the imaginary, Foot Village rise to a concept.
BITCHES are London's youngest, funnest noise-rock couple, Blake and Staz, who know how to tear it up like Godheadsilo, keep it bouncy like Mika Miko and stay as catchy as Katy Perry. So what are you gonna do when they rip a hole in your stereo all Aerosmith meets RUN DM "C U ON THE FUCKING FLOOR PUNK!" style? Bitches have a new cassette tape available through Deathbomb Arc now.
BLOODY KNEES are Andrew, Simon and Aaron from London. They're an ear-splitting youth punk group who feedback, holler, jump and flail on the spot through brilliant pointed pop songs à la Huggy Bear and Flipper. Bloody Knees are releasing a tape on Milk records soon and are planning a tour with Chaps around Europe early 2010.
