Do you have a Euro NHS card? A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
entitles the holder to reduced, or sometimes free, healthcare in the
rest of the EU. If you are due to go on holiday in the EU soon, you
should seriously consider applying for an EHIC before travelling. It
could save you a lot of money in medical bills if you get sick or have
an accident in Europe.

If you already have a card and were one of the first to get one in 2006,
it may soon be expiring and you may need to renew it. It only takes a
few minutes to get a new or renewed card online. Just go to:
https://www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do A new card will take about
seven days to arrive.
