The Stoke Newington Jazz Jam takes place every Tuesday at Jan's Bar, 18 Northwold Road, N16 7HR, from 8pm til 11pm. The next gig is the 17th January.

Featuring a mix of 50s and 60s jazz standards with a peppering of funk, ska, soul and rock classics, the jam is hosted by a talented house band led by Richard Venn and Leon Vince, and is a great place for meeting musicians, having a blow/strum/sing, or of course just sitting back and enjoying the music . The jam is set in the cosy environs of Jan's Bar, a Belgian-style bar which serves a wide variety of Belgian beers."
