You may have read in the last issue (number 50) of N16 Magazine an article entitled 'Radical Jewish East End Walks', written by Rab MacWilliam.
These walks, conducted by East End historian David Rosenberg are starting again towards the end of February. There has been heavy pre-booking of the 'Anti-Fascist Footprints' walk on 11 March. There are, as of 14 February, only 6 places left on that one, but there remain quite a few places left on the following two in March. These are fascinating guided tours of a part of London and subjects about which many Stoke Newington residents may know little. David is both informative and entertaining on his subject. They're certainly worth joining, and they're easy to get to.
Sunday 26 February (11am): The Radical Jewish East End Sunday 11 March (11am): Anti-Fascist Footprints Sunday 25 March (2.30pm): The Spark of Rebellion in Bow and Mile End
